We’re excited to share that 28 South Environmental has established a permanent office in Sippy Downs, strengthening our presence on the Sunshine Coast and bringing our team closer to the clients, communities and landscapes we support.
The new office is home to Tom Cranny, Bianca Staker and Nick Dennett — experienced environmental consultants who bring local knowledge and expertise across environmental planning, ecology and environmental approvals.
A permanent local presence
Establishing an office in the region represents an important milestone in 28 South’s continued growth. Geographic expansion was identified as a key enabler of our 2028 strategy, helping us build stronger local relationships while maintaining access to the broader expertise of our team across Queensland and New South Wales.
For our clients, having people based locally means greater opportunity for face-to-face collaboration, improved familiarity with the region and a team that can stay closely connected to projects from early planning through to delivery.
Our Sippy Downs team is supported by specialists across 28 South, allowing us to provide integrated advice where projects require a combination of environmental planning, ecological assessment, approvals and practical project support.
Supporting projects across the region
The Sunshine Coast continues to experience significant growth and investment, creating both opportunities and increasingly complex environmental considerations for project teams.
Having an established local presence allows us to work alongside clients earlier in the project lifecycle, helping identify environmental constraints, approval pathways and ecological considerations before they become larger programme or design issues.
It also gives our team the opportunity to build deeper relationships with the communities and environments in which we work — something that is central to the way 28 South approaches environmental consulting.
We’re proud of what this new office represents for our team and excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue building our presence on the Sunshine Coast and across Southeast Queensland.
