RIPLEY VIEW RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION, FLINDERS VIEW, QUEENSLAND

FOR INFORMATION ONLY NOTIFICATION FOR PUBLICATION OF FINAL DOCUMENTATION UNDER THE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999 (EPBC ACT)

In accordance with Section 95B(2) of the EPBC Act, public viewing of final preliminary documentation is invited on an action proposed to be taken at Flinders View, Queensland.

ARXHE Ripley View Investment Trust is seeking approval to carry out the Ripley View Residential Subdivision (EPBC 2020/8615) on land described as Lot 208 on SL11067, Lot 209 on SL11067, Lot 210 on SL9238, Lot 211 on RP906067 and Lot 2 on RP90967, Fischer Road, Flinders View, Queensland.

The proposed action involves the establishment of new urban development. This action was determined to be a Controlled Action under the EPBC Act with a Preliminary Documentation level of assessment. The controlling provision is ‘Listed threatened species and ecological communities’ (Sections 18 and 18A), specifically the vulnerable Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus (combined populations of QLD, NSW and the ACT)), the vulnerable Grey-headed Flying-fox (Pteropus poliocephalus) and the vulnerable Greater Glider (Petauroides volans) southern and central.

Please note that although Koala and Greater Glider were assessed under the vulnerable listing status, as this was its status at the time of Controlled Action decision, as of 12 February 2022 (Koala) and 5 July 2022 (Greater Glider), both are now listed endangered.

Viewing the Preliminary Documentation Report

Two copies of the final Preliminary Documentation Report (including all attachments) and addendum report summarising public consultation comments will be available to view for a period of 15 business days from from Wednesday 27 March 2024 to Thursday 18 April, 2024 at each of the following locations:
