DOUBLE JUMP ROAD RESIDENTIAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT, VICTORIA POINT, QUEENSLAND

NOTIFICATION OF PUBLICATION OF PRELIMINARY DOCUMENTATION UNDER THE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999 (EPBC ACT)
In accordance with Section 95A(3) of the EPBC Act, public comment is invited on an action proposed to be taken at Victoria Point, Queensland.
Sutgold Pty Ltd is seeking approval to carry out the Double Jump Road Residential Estate Development (EPBC 2024/09825) on land described as Lot 1 on RP86773, Lot 2 on RP86773, Lot 5 on SP293881, Lot 23 on SP325035 and Lot 2 on RP165178, Double Jump Road, Victoria Point, Queensland.
The proposed action involves the establishment of new urban residential development. This action was determined to be a Controlled Action under the EPBC Act with a Preliminary Documentation level of assessment. The controlling provision is ‘Listed threatened species and ecological communities’ (Sections 18 and 18A), specifically the endangered Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus (combined populations of QLD, NSW and the ACT)) and the vulnerable Grey-headed Flying-fox (Pteropus poliocephalus).
Viewing the Preliminary Documentation Report
Hard copies of the Preliminary Documentation Report (including all attachments) will be available to view for a period of 10 business days from Monday 21 September 2026 to Friday 2 October 2026 at each of the following locations:
